Project scope and design strategy
A multi-phase interior remodel of the Courthouse Club Fitness Battle Creek facility, enhancing high-use amenity spaces while maintaining ongoing operations. The project included selective demolition and full reconstruction of the locker room cores with new lockers, Corian benches and vanities, ADA-compliant showers, and corrosion-resistant fixtures. Aquatic-adjacent upgrades improved durability and performance through new pool coping and plaster, linear drainage, tile enhancements, CMU corrosion repairs, and ventilation improvements. Durable finishes, specialty ceilings, and energy-efficient LED lighting were incorporated throughout to deliver a modern, code-compliant fitness environment
